Restorative dentistry is the study, examination and treatment of diseases of the oral cavity, the teeth and their supporting structures. Restorative Dentistry includes the dental monospecialties of endodontics, periodontics and prosthodontics (including implantology), and its foundation is based upon how these interact in the management of cases requiring multifaceted care.

British Society of Dental and Maxillofac

The BSDMFR is a small and friendly society made up of those working in dental and maxillofacial radiology or who have an interest in this field.  We aim to promote education and research in this area and to assist in setting professional standards and practice.  New members are always welcome and applications can be made through this website.

BSPD was founded in 1968 with the aim of improving the oral health of children in the UK.

BSPD consists of 500 members who work in hospital, in community clinics and in practice as Consultants, Specialists, Dentists and Dental Care Professionals. Some of our members also work in universities and as researchers.

The British Society of Prosthodontics (BSSPD) is one of the oldest of the specialist dental societies in the UK and was founded in 1953. The worldwide membership is around 600, and the society is always actively pursuing new members who have an interest in fixed, removable, implant or maxillofacial prosthodontics.
