This is a unique introduction to the impression techniques and procedures in related dentures in the setting of general practice. This online course is designed to reinforce the background information needed to manage your patients’ required dentures (partial or full) and to make sure that they comprehend the condition so as to be in a position to give informed consent. A simple and quick talk about important factors and procedures will help delegates to provide patients expectations.

This online course will provide you some techniques how to take and provide excellent impressions to your technicians for your tasks, avoid making mistakes, helping to achieve better outcomes and increase profits.

Speaker
Dr Ali Nankali is a Clinical Senior Lecturer in Teaching and Innovation (Adult Oral Health) Centre in the Barts and the London Medical and Dental School. In 1998, he took a keen interest in Restorative Dentistry, which led him to commence his extensive research on application of post/cores and a number of novel inventions including Nankali Post System, Nankali bur and new classifications.
Dr Nankali was awarded his PhD in 2004 by National Medical University (NMU) in Kiev, Ukraine where he registered as a Specialist / Consultant in Prosthodontics. Furthermore, his Engineering background in addition to his Prosthetics and Maxillofacial clinical experiences helped him in achieving ground-breaking outcomes on his researches related to distribution of masticatory force and mechanical strength of teeth's hard tissues that brought him to the attention of the scientific community.
At his current position, Dr Nankali is involved with undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD students as well as regularly running CPD courses and conferences.

a Tutor in the Centre of Adult Oral Health, at Bart's and the London, School of Medicine and Dentistry. Having gained the National Award (2005) in Dental Technology, he went on to study at the Eastman Dental Hospital where he completed his FdSc in Dental Technology awarded by De Montfort University, Leicester (2008). A Former Council Member for the Dental Technologist Association (DTA). He is an Associate Fellow of The Higher Education Academy (HEA) having been awarded the Certificate in Learning and Teaching (CILT) 2013. He is currently module lead (occlusion) and an internal examiner for the MSc Dental Technology course (QMUL), sits on the Editorial Board for Primary Dental Journal, produced by the Faculty of General Dental Practice (FGDP UK) and Awarded Non-Clinical Teacher of the Year 2019 by Barts & The London Students Association (BLSA)
